Japanese Vintage Awase Kimono – Vivid Purple with Gold & White Flying Cranes, Lined Kimono, Size S

A striking vintage awase (lined) kimono in a rich, vivid purple, decorated with elegant cranes in flight rendered in shimmering gold and creamy white. The color deepens toward the hem in a soft gradation, giving the kimono a graceful, celebratory presence.

Cranes (tsuru), a traditional Japanese symbol of longevity and good fortune, soar across the hem and sleeves in dynamic poses, some filled with metallic gold and others in soft white with fine gold outlines. The upper body is a clean, solid purple, while the design is concentrated at the hem (suso moyo) and sleeve edges, with the purple shading to a deeper tone toward the bottom. The kimono is lined with soft white and pale lavender-gray fabric, which peeks out beautifully at the sleeves and hem.
