Authentic Japanese Washable Komon Kimono

This traditional summer kimono is called komon. It is suitable for events, dinners, etc. The color is light beige with Lotus flower inspired design with a plaid pattern and goes with any obi. It is also good as a guest at a tea ceremony. Cranes are often depicted in Japanese art and textiles, symbolizing longevity, good fortune, and peace.

★ How to Wash Washable Kimono
(1) Fold the kimono and wash it in a large laundry net.
(2) Add "an appropriate amount of detergent for fashionable clothes"
(3) Wash in "hand wash mode" or "delicate". (don't use the dryer)
(4) Hang dry in indoor or in a place out of direct sunlight. (Take it out of the washing machine immediately after washing)
(5) Iron the kimono as needed. (Always use a cloth like a handkerchief over it. when you iron kimono)
(6) When it is thoroughly dry, fold it and store it.
